The YB5 is the last of the Massimo Tamburini-designed Bimotas. It features the largest engine to ever power a Bimota - the Yamaha FJ1200. The YB5 is bi-posto, with a cowling to cover the passenger seat. The riding position is very comfortable and would be considered a sport-touring machine rather than an all-out sports bike.

This YB5 has a performance engine with Mikuni flat slide carburetors, K&N air filters and a performance exhaust made by Conti. It also has 18" Marvic modular wheels, a Marzocchi M1-R fork and upgraded Brembo 4 piston calipers. The bodywork is in excellent condition for a 30+ year old motorcycle.
